SHAD reinvents the to-go coffee experience with an aroma enhancing, spill-proof upgrade to the classic travel cup. The idea began when founder and CEO Derek Richmond was drinking coffee on his way to work from his usual commuter mug, and it just wasn’t hitting right and hadn’t been for a long time.
It dawned on him that he couldn’t smell his coffee. The small hole in the top of the travel cup made it nearly impossible to enjoy the aroma, so Derek designed a new lid that allows coffee’s fragrant notes to fill your nostrils.
Available with a red or cream ceramic tumbler to resemble your favorite at-home mug or with an insulated black stainless steel tumbler, the patent pending lid works with either, and is spill-resistant due to its baffle design and outer rim. There’s an upper lid that retains heat and keeps your drink warm for hours. When you’re ready, pop the top and take a sip, and conveniently hang the upper lid on the lip of your cup.
